Thank you!

Isn't that unique! Thanksgiving is for saying thanks! Mostly, when we think of this great holiday, (and it is my favorite holiday), we actually get lost in the idea of family and a turkey dinner, then we forget to say a heart warming Thank You to our Lord who made it all possible.

Can you imagine how it would be for us today if the Lord had not set our country up as the greatest Christian country in the history of the world. We (at least for now) still have most of our Christian freedoms, such as freedom to worship, freedom of speech, including freedom to preach without having to get approval from the state before actually presenting a gospel message?

This week, if you get to set down with your family for a meal together, be sure to remind them of the freedoms we enjoy under the leadership and blessing of God. Yes, it is a good time for Thanksgiving!
