Back Home Again!
Being back inside the building is truly a blessing to our body of believers. One can fellowship with our Lord anywhere, anytime, but the only real way to fellowship with our church members is to meet with them in person. The Lord is among us when two or three are gathered together in His name.
Our mid-week lesson is on Ezekiel chapters 1-3. Here we learn of the Hebrews being their normal unruly selves and for that disobedience they were invaded and carried into captivity by their enemy, the Babylonians. Nebuchadnezzar destroyed the temple of the Lord and laid siege to the city of Jerusalem. All of the bright and talented young people were taken into captivity, while the older and not as talented folk were left in the Holy Land to take care of the fields.
Young, bright people like Daniel, Ezekiel, and Jeremiah were taken into the king's court and trained to do the work of the king. This is where they served until God changed the circumstances of their captivity.
Please join us at 6:30 for this lesson.
Blessings !
