This Will Test Your Medal!

I determined many years ago how I would react in certain situations. I think I was inspired by Cassie Bernall, a 17 years old student at Columbine High School, in Colorado. In a book later written by Cassie's mom, "She Said Yes!" her mom described when Cassie was asked by the murderous Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold, if she believed in God. Cassie's answer was, "Yes." Then she was martyred along with 11 other students and a teacher.

It matters how we react in these situations of life. Today in our world, we are watching a disease that I believe will be as radical of a change as 911 was by in 2001. Things aren't ever going to be the same as they were before Covid 19. Not only has this plague invaded our country and our homes, but it has had a major impact on the economy of the world and on the way we now perceive and react to national situations.

This is where the test of our medal happens. People are watching you, Christian! They are watching as your faith is being tested before a lost world. Will we react to these situations differently than them? How will the world know we are different. Is this difference worth it? We are on "trial". Do you have a pre-determined plan for emergencies? The jury is now out. Let's let our faith be a demonstration of Christ in our lives.

"Trust in the Lord with all of your heart and lean not on your own understanding, in all of your ways submit to Him and He will make your paths straight," (Proverbs 3:5-6).
