Add An Engaging Title

When I open this program to write the blog, it says, "Add an Engaging Title". If you could change your moniker or perhaps change people's opinion of you; what would you name yourself? Would you add adjectives to your name to enhance the way people view you? Maybe you would like to go the other direction and become less known than you are now.

Whether or not we would change our title, we must be what we are. And what are we? First, if you know Jesus in salvation, you are His child. You wear the name "Christian". Because our family lineage goes back thousands of years, we are very well known. Many people like us and some people do not. But be assured, whether on not people like us, they are watching us. How we react to situations is very important to the work of Christ and His family. We must guard the ministry and mission of our Lord at all times.

Are you sure you are a member of Christ's family? If you died today, are you positive you would go to heaven? If you have given your heart to Jesus you are on your way. At the end of life, you will surely go to be with Jesus for eternity if you have been born again.

If you are reading this and you don't know Jesus in salvation, consider this; Romans 5:8 tells us, "But God demonstrates His own love toward us in that while we were yet Sinners, Christ died for us." This means, way before you ever committed a sin, Jesus paid your sin debt on the cross. He died in your place because He loves you. To be saved you must be willing to turn from sin and the way of the world and turn to Christ. This is known as repentance. Do you believe this? Romans 10:9-10 declares, "That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." Then in Romans 10:17 we read, "So then faith comes be hearing and hearing by the word of God."

Ok then. If you follow this simple advice you will be saved for eternity. Your title has been changed. Now you are engaging!
