Payment Problem

Once I logged on to a website and a pop up said, "Payment Problem", you need to update your payment method. I wonder how many people think they don't have a payment problem but they have a serious one.

Those who have trusted in the salvation of Jesus Christ do not have a payment problem for their sins committed in this life. But those who continue to procrastinate or never get around to tending to the problem of sin, will one day find that they have a very serious payment problem.

Jesus died for all who will come to him in faith. It doesn't matter who you are or what you have done before today, you can still trust in Jesus to forgive your sins and he will do it. But if you have never given your soul to the Lord, please do it today.

How much faith does it take? Romans 4:5 says, "to the one who does not work but trusts God who justifies the ungodly, their faith is credited as righteousness." That means we don't earn salvation by "works". Salvation is a gift of God, not of "works!" (Eph. 2:8-9).

Today, choose whom you will serve- the Lord of salvation, or the way of the world. Don't end up with a payment problem. If you have not made your decision to trust Jesus, you will have to pay the sin bill yourself.
